Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift patterns: 20 hours per week, 3 On, 6 Off (can start as early as 3am and as late as 11pm)

Location: Bristol Airport

PLEASE NOTE: The role is based within an airport. You will be required to undergo a security/background check if you are to be successful for this position.

Pay Rate: £13,780

Grade: O

A Typical Day May Involve
  • Checking passenger travel documentation at the check‑in area and boarding gate for acceptance
  • Representing the airline and providing an exceptional level of customer service, making the passenger’s journey positively memorable
  • Consistently delivering the highest customer service
  • Reinforcing rules for oversized luggage, ensuring the correct fees apply if the size/weight is over allowances
  • Assisting passengers during flight disruptions (delays, cancellations), overbooking and any other incidence
This Role Would Suit People Who
  • Hold a valid UK driving licence (essential)
  • Can work shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
  • Are confident dealing with challenging situations
  • Work well within a team and have excellent communication skills
  • Are willing to attend a medical appointment
Security Process to Work Within Aviation and Travel at DHL
  • Be able to provide five years’ address history
  • Be able to provide five years’ reference history (employment/education/benefit claim/character)
  • Pass a pre‑employment Drug and Alcohol test
