The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (Pro Serve) team seeks a highly skilled Engagement Manager to lead the delivery of complex cloud solution projects. Candidates will combine technical expertise with strong project leadership skills to drive AWS-based implementations, bridge business requirements with technical solutions, and ensure alignment with customer outcomes using frameworks such as the Well-Architected Framework and the Cloud Adoption Framework.

Candidates must possess strong technology and program/project management experience, validate technical solutions against business goals, manage technical risks, and maintain relevant AWS certifications. The role requires someone who can lead increasingly complex technical projects, shape cross‑organizational technical strategies, and establish best practices in their domain.

• Lead and manage complex cloud migration and transformation projects/programmes from inception to completion.
• Ensure successful delivery of project/programme outcomes within agreed time frames, budget and quality parameters.
• Develop and execute project/programme level planning with the agility to adjust strategies as necessary.
• Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across customers, partners and internal teams at all levels.
• Drive key decisions and resolve project/programme level risks and issues.
• Establish robust governance model, project/programme structure and communication plan.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams of technical specialists.
• Ensure compliance with security, regulatory and governance requirements.
• Bridge business requirements with technical solutions, facilitating engineering discussions and ensuring alignment with customer business outcomes.
• Distill customer needs into clear technical requirements and map them to business outcomes.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience in leading and delivering enterprise-level IT engagements.
• Knowledge of technology principles and services, including infrastructure, business applications, data management, security, application platforms, and consumer‑facing technology.
• Experience leading multiple Agile teams (Scrum Masters, Product Owners) concurrently or at scale.

Preferred Qualifications

• Active project management certification (e.g., APM, CSM, PMI‑ACP, PRINCE2).
• AWS certification.
• Experience delivering customer engagements in a professional services role.
• Experience with Agile and project management toolsets such as Jira, Rally, Version One or Taiga.
• Experience working with and presenting to C‑level executives, IT, and lines of businesses across organizations.

Eligibility for UK Government Security Clearance is required for this role.
