Group Category Manager - Information Management

Location:

Bristol, England, United Kingdom. Dynamic (hybrid) working:
Group level role. Senior position within the Digital Procurement team in the UK. 2-3 days per week on-site minimum.

Salary:
Circa £60,000-£75,000 dependent on experience. Security Clearance:
British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship. BPSS checks after offer stage will be required.

  Bonus of up to 21% of base salary
• Pension: maximum total (employer and employee) contribution of up to 14%

• Established Technology Procurement Practitioners with experience at Category Management level in one of these categories:
  Software (Business Software, Software Services, Integration, Projects or Engineering & Manufacturing Software), Networks & Telecoms, Cyber, AI and/or High-Performance Computing, Hardware, Back Office / Front Offices and IT Services, Data Centres & Storage
• Or a Senior Procurement Practitioner – at Group Category Management Level or international context – willing to develop procurement in one of those technology categories
• Ideally MCIPS qualified or willing to work towards MCIPS

• Develop in-depth market knowledge, build and develop category plans, assess risks and market opportunities
• Create short, medium and long-term procurement plans
• Mentor Buyers to deliver complex procurement projects
• Operate at Group level as a business partner, delivering common goals
• Work in an international context within a diverse cultural environment

International team of around 35 procurement professionals based in Stevenage, Bolton, Paris and Rome.
