IT Project Manager, IT Consultant
Job Introduction
The West of England Mayoral Combined Authority (MCA) is seeking to appoint a Service Manager – ICT Services to join the Digital, Data and Operations team. Your key responsibilities in this role will be to ensure a focus on delivering the priorities of the Metro Mayor by:
Responsibilities- Ensuring the Authority’s core ICT services are reliable, secure and perform to agreed service levels, enabling staff and the Mayor to work effectively.
- Providing strong client-side leadership and assurance for the Authority’s main ICT contract and other technology partners and service providers.
- Managing service performance, operational risk and escalation, and driving continuous improvement across ICT services.
- Supporting delivery of organisational priorities by ensuring ICT services are operationally ready, well supported and resilient.
Interviews are planned to be held w/c 26 January 2026. Please note this may be subject to change.
The selection process is likely to include an interview and a short assessment focused on ICT service management and supplier assurance.

The salary for this role is £52,413 - £55,722. This is the full-time equivalent salary, and will be pro-rata for part-time. We advertise salary ranges for job roles, with new appointments for external candidates typically starting at the lowest salary point. In exceptional cases, where higher skill levels or experience are applicable, the salary point may be adjusted to secure the best candidate.
This approach allows for potential year-on-year salary increases, offering progression and appropriate rewards to employees.
