DevOps Engineer​/GCP SRE Engineer; Data Engineering Exposure

We are looking for an experienced GCP Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with strong cloud engineering and Dev Ops expertise. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain reliable, scalable, and secure infrastructure on Google Cloud, while also supporting data engineering teams with critical GCP data products.

• Deliver GCP cloud engineering services across Data, Database, and Storage platforms.
• Curate, provision, and build GCP infrastructure and product resources using Terraform (IaC).
• Implement automation, policies, and guardrails to ensure platform readiness and compliance.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git Hub, and Harness.
• Manage and operate Kubernetes clusters (GKE / Open Shift) for container orchestration.
• Ensure platform reliability through monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
• Collaborate with data teams to optimise workloads across Big Query, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and related services.
• Provide incident support and conduct detailed root cause analysis for platform and product issues.

• GCP Cloud engineering

• Familiarity with Internal Developer Platforms (e.g., Backstage IDP)
• Understanding of GCP Data Products:
• Cloud SQL, GCS, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, Big Query, Vertex AI

• 5+ years in SRE/Dev Ops roles with strong cloud engineering background.
• Proven hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Exposure to private cloud environments and Open Shift preferred.
