Location: Hybrid; with travel expected to client sites and Logiq’s offices in Bristol, Chippenham or Exeter.

As a Principal Enterprise Architect, your primary purpose will be to provide Architecture advice and solutions at an Enterprise and business level into some of Logiq’s most high‑profile and impactful projects, acting as a trusted advisor to senior clients involved in complex delivery. You will :

• Produce architecture artefacts (e.g. high level designs, enterprise and business architectures, operating models, transition states, roadmaps) as required to articulate just enough design definition appropriate to the task at hand
• Tailor and learn architecture development processes to drive community convergence around critical design choices
• Act as a bridge between business operating models, processes and technical solutions
• Guide architecture modelling activities iaw preferred architecture frameworks and development methodologies used in Defence
• Develop and advise on appropriate delivery models for complex technology solutions;
• Work closely with Stakeholders to bring them along on the design journey
• Engage with design authorities and other stakeholders to support design approvals processes
• Lead teams of architects and systems engineers on a day‑to‑day basis, setting priorities, maintaining backlog, agreeing scope with the customer and defining technical tasks

Key to success in our clients’ environments will be the ability to distil and communicate highly complex concepts with simplicity and in a compelling way and to be able to effectively “see the wood for the trees” in highly technical environments.

Over time, and aligned with the wider responsibilities of a Principal consultant you will work in or lead other Logiq projects. You will collaborate with multi‑disciplinary teams, adapting to various roles within client projects over time. As part of the over EA position it will be expected that you will have some kind of Team Leadership with this position depending on team composition when you start with us.
