About This Opportunity

Personalised Experiences and Communications (PEC) is a business platform that supports the Group’s customer relationship strategy through cross‑channel personalised communications. As a Dev Ops Engineer you will lead the technical delivery of secure, CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure and observability for both private and public cloud services.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Support build and deployment processes for applications on both private and public cloud.
  • Deploy software and data microservices regularly while continuously improving processes.
  • Implement and maintain Dev Ops tooling such as Jenkins, Git Hub, Harness, Docker, Istio.
  • Deliver and maintain pipeline standards for build, test, security, performance and release processes.
  • Build and deploy automation observability solutions – logging, monitoring, metrics, alerting.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional agile teams on the latest technologies.
  • Iterate best practices to increase deployment quality.
  • Sustain and improve knowledge sharing across engineering teams.
What You’ll Need
  • Software or Data Engineering background with experience in Java, Python or bash scripting.
  • Proven expertise in modern engineering practices including streaming, databases, ETL pipelines and Airflow.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Sonar, Nexus, Git, Docker.
  • Knowledge of test automation tools:
    Junit, Cucumber, Selenium, Postman, K6/JMeter.
  • Passion for collaboration and building strong team culture.
  • Track record of automating to improve resilience, release frequency and Dev Ops culture.
  • Exposure to cloud technology (preferably GCP) and databases (Postgre

    SQL), Kafka and Pub/Sub.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform). Exposure to data lineage tooling is a plus.
