Senior Loss Adjuster – Property at Marsh Risk

As a Senior Loss Adjuster you will play a pivotal role in managing and leading complex insurance claims in the Property sector. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a passionate, talented team dedicated to delivering exceptional outcomes for some of the world’s largest and most demanding clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead major and complex property damage claims, including post‑loss claims preparation, presentation, and project management for a diverse range of Marsh broker clients.
  • Manage and deliver complex client engagements, ensuring effective expansion of the Claims Preparation reputation and profile across Marsh.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, providing expert advice and solutions across insurance claims management and dispute resolution.
  • Support advocacy teams with technical input and maintain close collaboration with forensic accountants on business interruption claims.
  • Prepare and review detailed analysis, proposals, and technical reports, ensuring high‑quality deliverables that meet client expectations.
  • Support business development efforts by identifying new opportunities and expanding the Claims Preparation practice within the UK.
Qualifications
  • A strong background in insurance claims as a qualified loss adjuster, with experience managing complex and demanding claims.
  • Superb people skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experience.
  • Proven project management skills in handling major material damage and supporting business interruption claims.
  • Excellent report writing, presentation, and communication skills.
  • A desire to share knowledge and expertise with early‑career team members on larger claims.
  • Ability to travel locally at short notice.
  • Professional adjusting qualification such as ACILA or equivalent.
Preferred Qualities
  • Demonstrable experience handling major and complex losses across a range of industries.
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • A track record of developing new business opportunities and expanding client relationships in the claims management space.
