Private Client Associate / Senior Associate - Bristol

This Top 100 national firm is looking for an experienced private client solicitor to join their highly regarded Private Wealth team at Associate or Senior Associate level. You will be based in Bristol with hybrid working.

This is a heavyweight private client team with an impressive and diverse client base, advising individuals, families, entrepreneurs, landowners and high profile clients on complex, high value matters. The work spans estate and succession planning, trusts, tax structuring, probate and wealth preservation often with international elements.

The ideal candidate will have a well‑rounded private client practice, covering the preparation of wills, lasting powers of attorney, inheritance tax planning, and the administration of estates and trusts. You'll also be involved in complex probate and estate administration matters and will work closely with colleagues across tax, real estate and corporate to deliver joined up advice.

At this level, you'll be encouraged to take an active role in business development, helping to maintain and grow key relationships across the region. Depending on your experience, you may also supervise junior lawyers and contribute to the ongoing development of the team.

This role would suit someone with solid private client experience who is used to dealing with complex, high calibre work. Perhaps you're looking to step up into a senior associate role, or maybe you're already operating at that level but want exposure to a broader, more sophisticated client base. A STEP qualification (or working towards it) would be an advantage.
