Hardware Response Technician – Radius

The Hardware Response Technician plays a key role in delivering target responses to daily hardware faults, de‑installations, footage retrievals, firmware upgrades, SD card upgrades, fleet check audits, and site visits.

Day‑to‑day tasks include site visits, customer liaison, fixing hardware faults (cameras, monitors, cables), handling footage retrieval, firmware upgrades, SD card swaps, and de‑installations. The role is the primary labour source for removing kit from customer vehicles and managing the health check process before reinstallation on new vehicles.

Work schedule:

Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week plus overtime.

• Health and safety documentation completed before each repair.
• Ensure the “Job Sheet” is fully completed and signed by an authorised person before leaving the repair.
• Perform allocated work on time, accurately, with high quality workmanship.
• Troubleshoot customer queries on perceived faulty equipment, suggest resolutions, and designate equipment.
• Maintain accurate van stock records, ensuring company equipment is kept secure.
• Carry out duties with minimal daily supervision.
• Adhere to company policies and guidelines at all times.
• Maintain proactive daily communication with customers and internal teams to ensure resolution and appropriate follow‑up, leading to customer satisfaction.
• Focus on customer needs, continually building and enhancing relationships to become the preferred supplier.
• Engage with other team members to keep them informed of outstanding issues.
