Electrical Project Manager

Overview

A leading, established and highly successful provider of mechanical and electrical installation services to commercial and industrial buildings seeks the solid appointment of an experienced and commercially talented Electrical Project Manager from an M&E / Building Services electrical installation project management background to join their exciting planned growth and continued success. Candidates sought MUST be based or commutable to Bristol / Avon.

You will ideally have previous experience working on projects up to £20M+; however, consideration may be given to those with less experience depending on project exposure.

• Manage electrical installations into new build industrial sheds for warehousing & distribution, military, manufacturing, as well as office blocks and data centres.
• Lead on the project management and delivery of electrical installations and associated electrical services in these environments.
• Coordinate with main contractors and, where required, work with other specialist electrical engineers to undertake elements of these installs.
• Maintain client-facing communications, conduct meetings with professionalism and integrity, and manage project expectations.
• Liaise regularly with site-based teams including Site Managers, Supervisors and electrical installation engineers, under the direction of a Senior Project Manager.
• Organise and lead project delivery in a structured, commercially minded manner.

• Based in or commutable to Bristol / Avon.
• Proven track record in managing and delivering schemes of this scale and type.
• Experience in projects up to £20M+ preferred.
• Background in M&E / Building Services with direct working experience in project management and delivery of electrical installations and related services.
• Experience dealing with main contractors.
• Strong client-facing presence and professional demeanor.
• Organised, approachable leadership style with regular liaison with site teams.
