Here at XPO, were looking for a full-time, permanent Transport Shift Manager to join us on our PM shift for our ETEX contract based in Portbury, Bristol.

Core hours are  but youll need flexibility to cover other shifts, including nights. Youll be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient and effective running of our transport function. Pay, benefits and more:
Were looking to offer a salary of up to £38,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. Supervision and overseeing of the transport function, whilst working closely with the Warehouse Shift Manager, to ensure a smooth running of the business Managing customer relationships, both indirectly and face to face Driving on-site loading efficiency Lead your team to meeting and exceeding operational objectives, such as service provision, productivity and fuel KPIs Lead, manage and engage your team of drivers within a busy gatehouse environment.

What you need to succeed at XPO: A track record at a supervisory or management level within a complex, fast-paced transport operation Excellent knowledge of driving compliance and associated regulations (a CPC would be ideal) A strong personality with the ability to effectively manage drivers, push for operational excellence and challenge the status quo Be part of something big.
