LOCATION :
Bridgewater House Bristol with an expectation of a high office presence.

PROPOSED SALARY RANGE : 49,100 - 78,500 depending on relevant skills knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

START DATE : late January 2026 (no later than 12th February)

PURPOSE OF

THE ROLE

BBC Studios is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Line Producer to lead a large production team on an ambitious blue chip Natural History Landmark series for a third-party broadcaster. Reporting directly to the Production Executive you will oversee all aspects of production driving progress and inspiring your team to deliver outstanding content to the highest standards.

YOUR

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND IMPACT
  • Oversee and manage large budgets financial forecasting and reporting
  • Lead and appraise Production Managers oversee recruitment and optimise team deployment
  • Drive savings and efficiencies ensuring best practice and on-screen value
  • Ensure compliance with contracts policies and health & safety procedures
  • Manage tender processes for post-production VFX and music
  • Lead contract negotiations and business affairs
  • Support team members on HR and production culture pledges
  • Deliver clear business updates and communicate complex information effectively
  • Bring extensive experience in UK and international filming including challenging and high risk environments
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
  • A proven track record of managing key stakeholder relationships with US commissioners and other internal & external partners.
  • Experience in leading large teams on complex blue chip natural history projects.
  • Experience of overseeing & managing large budgets including cost reporting and cashflow forecasting.
  • Extensive UK & international filming experience Including of challenging & high risk environments.
