Job SummaryPertemps are recruiting on behalf of our client for a skilled Panel Builder. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, wiring, soldering and testing electrical control panels in accordance with engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and established internal standards. The position requires high-quality workmanship, strict adherence to health and safety requirements, and the ability to support the timely delivery of industrial automation and control system solutions.
Key Responsibilities Panel Assembly & Wiring- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, layout drawings, and bill of materials.
- Assemble control panels, enclosures, back plates, DIN rails, and component mounting hardware.
- Perform point-to-point wiring using proper routing, labeling, and wire‑management practices.
- Install electrical components such as breakers, relays, PLCs, terminal blocks, VFDs, and communication modules.
- Perform light soldering on components, terminations, or assemblies when required (experience desirable).
- Conduct continuity checks, operational tests, and quality inspections.
- Verify wiring accuracy and ensure compliance.
- Troubleshoot wiring issues and correct assembly errors.
- Maintain updated assembly records, test sheets, and panel labeling.
- Follow company manufacturing standards, electrical codes, and safety procedures.
- Communicate inconsistencies or missing information to engineering.
