Cleaning and Waste Operative – Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services

The role is located in a warehouse environment as part of our cleaning and waste team. We are looking for a motivated, reliable, hardworking individual. No experience is required as full training will be provided.

Salary: £12.85 per hour

Hours:

35 hours per week

Shift pattern: 6:00 am – 2:00 pm, 4 on / 2 off

Contract type:
Permanent

• Perform general cleaning and tidying of all areas within the warehouse, including washrooms and canteens.
• Use appropriate cleaning equipment, materials and cleaning products.
• Keep all cleaning equipment clean, well‑maintained and in safe working order.
• Respond quickly to call‑outs from the client and comply with all Health & Safety legislation and policies.
• Manage waste disposal in accordance with client and company procedures.

• Motivated, reliable and hardworking.
• Comfortable working as part of a team and flexible in approach.
• Basic Disclosure Check completed and drug & alcohol screening passed.
• Full training will be provided; no previous experience required.
