We’re working with a well‑established, fast‑paced marketing agency that specialises in data‑led and CRM‑driven campaigns for some of the UK’s most recognisable brands. This is an opportunity for an experienced Account Director (or a strong Senior Account Manager ready to step up) to play a key role in running day‑to‑day client relationships, shaping strategic marketing activity, and delivering impactful campaigns across a varied portfolio.
You’ll work closely with senior leadership while owning the operational and strategic delivery for several high‑profile clients, balancing business‑as‑usual activity with exciting, project‑based work. The environment is collaborative, personable, and ambitious – ideal for someone who thrives in a hands‑on agency role.
THEROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the day‑to‑day management of key client accounts, acting as the main point of contact
- Translate client objectives into clear, strategic briefs and delivery plans
- Present scopes of work, project plans, and recommendations to clients, gaining buy‑in and approval
- Oversee delivery of campaigns across creative, data, and technical teams
- Manage a mix of BAU activity and short‑term, fast‑turnaround projects
- Support data‑driven campaign strategy, including loyalty and CRM initiatives
- Identify opportunities to add value, grow accounts, and improve client outcomes
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to a high standard
SKILLS:
- Experience at Account Director level.
- Background in data‑led marketing, digital, or CRM‑adjacent work (pure CRM experience not essential)
- Proven experience working with large, well‑known brands
- Strong strategic thinking with the ability to get under the skin of a client’s business
- Confident presenter, able to clearly articulate ideas and recommendations to senior stakeholders
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced agency environment with shifting priorities
- Personable, proactive, and collaborative – someone clients and colleagues enjoy working with
- Experience managing or mentoring team members
