Job Description

SECURITY CLEARANCE: You will be subject to BPSS and Export Control checks (including a criminal record check)

TRAVEL REQUIRED: Occasional travel within UK and international

LOCATION: Filton (60% of your working week must be office based)

TYPE: Full time

• Build and refine web applications and cloud services that our engineers rely on every day
• Collaborate with end‑users, designers and fellow developers in an agile team to solve complex problems and deliver valuable features
• Create and maintain robust APIs (using REST, gRPC and OpenAPI) to connect our tools and share data across the organisation
• Contribute to our modern development culture using tools like Git and our CI/CD pipelines to ship high‑quality, reliable code
• Learn and grow, supported by our expert community and a team that is invested in your development

• Proven experience in a relevant role
• Experience building modern web applications in Typescript with a modern framework such as React, Angular or Vue
• Proficiency in an object‑oriented language such as Java, and Python
• A good understanding of version control with Git
• Cloud platforms, especially AWS and its serverless and compute services or Google Cloud
