As our Camps & Events Manager you’ll be at the heart of our coaching programmes, organising fun, engaging, and high-quality football and sports provision each week, as well as leading our popular half term camps for children aged 5-12. You’ll play a key role in creating a positive and supportive environment where young children can learn, grow, and enjoy sport with Proformance.

Our events side also covers 1-2-1 and advanced football sessions, as well as exciting football birthday parties!

Covering Gloucestershire, South Gloucestershire, and Bristol, our fast-growing team delivers action-packed, fun-filled football sessions to over 400 children aged 2-14 every week! Plus, we bring top-quality sports provision to 2,000 children in schools across the region.

What our Camps & Events Manager should have
  • The confidence to lead structured, age-appropriate football sessions for children aged 2-14, helping players to develop key technical, tactical, and teamwork skills, using our curriculum and coaching framework.
  • The ability to work with school staff and stakeholders to provide inclusive and quality sports provision and enrichment following a scheme of works.
  • The character to motivate and inspire young children to reach their full potential.
  • The understanding of how to deliver sessions safely and align with the company’s safeguarding policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organise and co-ordinate engaging multi-sports and football specific camps across a range of locations, encompassing the needs and requirements of wraparound provision.
  • Develop Proformance’s 1-2-1 & advanced football coaching offering, tailored to each player’s needs and goals.
  • Explore opportunities to develop additional 1-2-1 & advanced sessions in other sports, where applicable.
  • Plan and manage football-themed birthday parties, ensuring a fun, structured, and engaging experience.
  • Reporting into the Head Coach to develop curriculums and session content to support the quality of programme delivery.
  • Work with the Social Media Manager to use social media and graphic design platforms such as Canva to create professional and engaging content.
  • Handle bookings, scheduling, customer and staffing enquiries for private coaching, parties and all half term camps.
  • Develop new ideas and initiatives to enhance the quality and appeal of private coaching and party packages.
  • Communicate with parents and guardians, providing updates on progress and event details.
  • Work with the management team to develop coaches that deliver high-quality provision.
  • Track attendance, performance, and feedback, ensuring a premium customer experience.
  • Ensure all sessions and events follow health, safety, and safeguarding protocols.
The Essentials
  • A minimum of 3 years experience coaching children in a football or sports environment.
  • A minimum of Introduction in Coaching Football (old FA Level
    1) or equivalent in another sport.
