HGV Driver Class 2 role at Macfarlane Packaging.

Location:

Avonmouth, Cabot Park. Sector:
Packaging distribution (Palletised deliveries within the Bristol & Somerset region).

Salary: Up To £33,000 (dependent On Experience).
Hours: Monday to Friday (daytime) hours only.

• HGV Driver – Key Duties

• Multiple customer deliveries in the local region (average of 1-15 drops daily)
• Drive Company HGV vehicles and operate Company equipment in a safe and professional manner in accordance with Company policies, procedures & legislation
• Strap and secure your load using a Cargo system (a counterbalance licence would be advantageous)
• Provide a professional HGV driving service, to meet & exceed customer expectations
• Comply with the vehicle security and standing procedure at all times
• Conduct HGV vehicle and auxiliary equipment checks (reporting defects) prior to the operation of any vehicle
• Report any delivery issues or exceptions in a timely manner
• Responsible for the Health and Safety of themselves and others, adhering to safe working practices and the Health & Safety at Work Act, including accident, incident, and damage reporting
