Drivers Mate

Looking for a hands-on, customer-facing role? HG Recruitment is recruiting Driver’s Mates to support the delivery of kitchens and bathrooms to residential customers on behalf of our client.

• Standard rate: £13.09 per hour
• Overtime after 45 hours: £19.64 per hour

• Assist the driver with contract deliveries of kitchen and bathroom products to residential addresses
• Help safely unload and handle bulky or heavy items as part of a two-person delivery team
• Provide a polite, professional service when attending customers’ homes
• Support safe handling and care of products and customer property
• Work closely with the driver to complete scheduled deliveries efficiently
• Tuesday-Saturday shift pattern 05:00 Starts

• A professional, friendly and customer-focused approach
• The ability to undertake physical work and manual handling safely

• Reliability, punctuality and a positive attitude
• Willingness to follow site and delivery safety procedures
