Job Overview

As a Crew Member at McDonald’s you will be an essential part of our team, creating a positive customer experience through fast, friendly, and accurate service. Your work will cover preparing food, serving customers at the till, and maintaining a clean and welcoming dining area.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare food and drinks to company standards.
  • Serve customers at the till with speed and accuracy.
  • Assist customers in the dining areas, respond to their requests, and ensure their satisfaction.
  • Follow all workplace safety, security and food hygiene procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment.
  • Work as a supportive team member, helping colleagues when needed.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Can‑do attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Positive team player who treats customers and colleagues with courtesy.
  • Friendly, welcoming, courteous and helpful behaviour.
  • Effective communication skills, including attentive listening and spoken communication (eye contact, face‑to‑face).
  • High energy levels and ability to work efficiently in a fast‑moving environment.
  • Legal right to work in the UK or Ireland.

Additional Information

Your regular pay will be every 2–4 weeks for hourly staff or monthly for salaried employees. Payment dates may vary depending on whether you work in a franchised or company‑owned restaurant.

Uniforms are supplied, and no specific clothing requirements exist beyond wearing the uniform.
