Working for a leading South London Members Club, the Bars and Events Manager will manage a wide range of events hosted in this Grade II listed building. The Bars and Events Manager is responsible for multiple running bars and events managing customer expectations and the bars and event staff.

• Recruit, train, and manage bar staff, including creating schedules and providing ongoing performance feedback. Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with staff, customers and event organisers.
• Ensuring consistent, high-quality beverages are served to customers.
• Overseeing the event on the day, managing staff, and ensuring everything runs smoothly.
• Assisting with the planning and coordination of events.
• Work with Marketing, Sales and Accounts team members.
• Key holder for the building and lock/unlock the building as required.
• Responsible for managing the tills and EPOS system and their effective use and making changes as required.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Organised, reliable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced venue environment.
• Brings a positive attitude and strong attention to detail.
• Have multiple bar management experience.
• Hold previous events management experience.
• Has flexibility to work non-standard hours during events.
• The successful candidate will be proactive, confident with excellent communication skills and have a natural ability to build a rapport with club members as well as with team members.
