• Routinely inspect all tools for inconsistencies, damage and appropriate documentation.
• Engrave and document tools as and when required.
• Ensure rejected tools and parts (including suspected unapproved parts) are quarantined and labelled, and that the GSE Supervisor is informed about the discrepant condition so corrective action can be initiated.
• Assist with filing all material certificates and proper storage, ensuring materials remain linked to the supplier source.
• Ensure that outgoing materials are logged to the correct personnel and returned when required.
• Monitor special tooling to ensure all issued tooling is within its calibration period, checking everything is up-to-date.
• Remove special tooling from its location in advance of its calibration date.
• Monitor inventory levels of consumables and report findings to the Buyer Planner to replenish stocks.
• Maintain good housekeeping practices in stores.
• Ensure reports are filed correctly for broken tooling.
• Check tooling out and in so it’s complete, ensuring no missing tooling.
• Servicing calibration reports.
• Conduct shelf audits consistently.
• Respond to email requests from both internal departments and external vendors.

• Previous experience in aviation or material/parts environment.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Knowledge of human factors, human performance and limitations.
• Computer skills for word processing, spreadsheet, database, presentation, email and web-based applications.
