• Manage the affairs of your own portfolio of clients, acting as the first point of contact for all financial and compliance matters.
• Review bookkeeping, VAT returns, management accounts, company financial statements, and sole trade accounts.
• Review and prepare corporation tax returns and assist with annual filings for clients.
• Have a strong understanding of financial statements, disclosures, corporation tax, and personal tax, and be actively involved in annual personal tax filings.
• Liaise with clients regarding deadlines and other requirements, ensuring timely delivery of all services, including Accounts, Tax, VAT, Payroll, and Company Secretarial work.
• Communicate effectively with clients to obtain necessary information and build strong, trusted relationships.
• Assist clients with ad hoc financial and tax-related queries, including interpreting financial results and advising on internal systems and controls.
• Support clients in the setup and development of accounting systems, including implementation of suitable accounting software.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes to ensure the smooth running of the practice.

• ACCA or ACA Qualified
• Experience in an accountancy practice
• A real desire to progress and develop
