About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with a strong background in the financial and banking sector to lead complex, high-stakes projects in a fast-paced environment. This role requires someone who thrives under pressure, communicates effectively with diverse stakeholders, and can bring structure, clarity, and momentum to large organizational initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale projects within financial or banking environments.
Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure alignment across business, technical, and compliance groups.
Manage relationships with external stakeholders, vendors, and partners; ensure clear communication, expectation management, and issue resolution.
Drive project governance, risk management, reporting, and adherence to regulatory or internal compliance requirements.
Maintain project timelines, budgets, and scope, ensuring smooth execution in high-pressure contexts.
Facilitate decision-making and escalate obstacles appropriately while maintaining momentum.
Apply best-practice project management methodologies (e.g., PMBOK, PRINCE2, Agile/Hybrid).
Required Experience & Qualifications
7+ years of project management experience, including extensive work within large organizations or enterprise-level environments.
Proven track record delivering complex projects in the financial, banking, or fintech sectors.
Demonstrated ability to operate confidently under pressure and manage sensitive, time-critical initiatives.
Strong stakeholder management skills, including engagement with senior leaders, external partners, and regulatory bodies.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
Familiarity with financial industry standards, compliance requirements, and operational processes.
Professional certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum) are a strong advantage.
