Moray Council is seeking to recruit a Service Manager – Harbours to manage the Council's harbours. This is an exciting opportunity for a suitable experienced and qualified individual to maximise opportunities for future development in our harbours.

• Oversee the management and operations of Moray Council leisure and commercial harbours.
• Take a lead role in the development and marketing of the expansion and use of harbours, maximising their potential growth for new industries.
• Develop relationships with existing and potential customers and other agencies to maximise the potential for economic growth in and around the harbours.
• Liaise with harbour users and local communities to ensure that the harbours are responsive to users' needs.

The successful candidate will have experience in harbour operations and hold a relevant qualification in a related discipline. You should have knowledge of emerging industries that could be attracted to the harbours, port‑related health and safety requirements, excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills, and the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with a customer‑focused approach.
