Our client is a well-established leader in the architectural building products industry and has been in operation for more than 60 years. With a North American presence and a strong culture built on collaboration and professionalism, they are looking for someone fluent in both French and English to deliver exceptional customer experiences to their business clients across Canada and the United States.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, you will guide clients through product selection, respond to inquiries, process orders, manage returns and exchanges, track shipments, and complete related service tasks with the goal of creating an outstanding customer experience. This position also offers cross functional exposure by supporting the sales, warehouse, procurement, and accounting teams as needed.
This role is well suited for someone who brings strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a genuine commitment to supporting customers. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Demonstrate your depth of customer service abilities and product knowledge while assisting customers in making purchasing decisions.
- Demonstrate sales acumen and product knowledge by providing product suggestions utilizing cross-sell and upsell techniques.
- Build customer trust through your daily interactions enabling you to provide reliable inside support to the Outside Sales Representatives for all regions.
- Be knowledgeable about account activity, purchasing habits and preferences.
- Take and enter orders received by phone, email, fax, in person and by way of our ecommerce site.
- Demonstrate your knowledge of pricing policies and service offerings through each customer service interaction.
- Demonstrate your superior skills in problem solving and conflict resolution and consistently represent our brand by providing a positive, memorable customer service experience with every interaction.
- Work individually and with your team to uphold the highest standards of customer service.
- Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3 years minimum of customer service experience in a business-to-business environment, preference given to candidates with inside sales experience
- Written and verbal fluency in English and French
- Pleasant, professional, and customer-focused telephone communication skills
- Effective problem-solving skills with the ability to offer customers appropriate solutions within established sales policy
- Experience working in fast paced environments requiring multitasking and prioritization
- Ability to follow established procedures while maintaining transparency and consistency
- Two or more years of experience using the Windows operating system
- Proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel at an intermediate level
- Typing speed of 55 to 60 WPM with strong accuracy
- Experience with Windows based accounting systems, VOIP phone systems, live chat tools, or basic AI tools is considered an asset
