The senior chemical engineer will play a key role in shaping the future of aseptic fill‑finish equipment through scientific leadership. You’ll lead the development of next‑generation decontamination, sterilization and related technologies for advanced gloveless aseptic filling systems. This high‑impact position reports to the Head of Engineering, Aseptic Filling and will be an on‑site role located in Burnaby, BC.

• Lead research and development of cutting‑edge decontamination and sterilization technologies.
• Design, execute and optimize aseptic filling equipment in collaboration with engineering, automation and quality teams.
• Act as a technical leader driving innovation in sterility assurance and aseptic filling technologies – influencing system design and process architecture.
• Translate scientific insights into scalable, regulatory‑compliant solutions for aseptic manufacturing.

• A process chemist, chemical or process engineer with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline.
• Deep expertise in aseptic pharmaceutical equipment with a focus on fill‑finish systems, sterilization or decontamination.
• Strong foundation in analytical methods, experimental design (DoE) and statistical analysis.
• Proven ability to lead complex R&D initiatives and collaborate across disciplines.

• GMP/GLP practices and global regulatory frameworks.
• Cleanroom design and/or robotic aseptic technologies.

Benefits include a comprehensive package of medical, dental, vision insurance and paid time off. Salary range is $90,000 – $134,000 and the role is eligible for bonus/incentive pay. Compensation and benefits are subject to change at the company’s discretion.
