Hourly Wage: $18.18/hr

• Processes pari-mutuel transactions
• Balances and reconciles a cash float, provides monetary change to guests
• Counts and verifies opening and closing floats for all coin, currency , and marketing items
• Counts and physically lays out cash according to established company policies and procedures
• Records transactions in software and verifies printed reports
• Maintains current knowledge of products, events, and promotions

• Minimum 6 months of cash handling experience
• Ability to add and multiply; balance floats/spreadsheets
• Ability to pull, lift, and carry objects such as a cashier tray
• Good manual dexterity to accurately handle cash and tickets
• Knowledge of horse racing and pari-mutuel betting an asset
