Home Instead provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion.

Primary

Roles And Responsibilities

• Companionship and conversation
• Medication and appointment reminders
• Light housekeeping, meal preparation, and grocery shopping
• Accompanying aging adults to their appointments
• Alzheimer's and dementia care
• Personal care (assistance with bathing or using the bathroom)
• Providing transportation to and from appointments

Caregiver Skills And Qualifications

• Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect.
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
• Willingness to grow and develop
• Ability to work with clients receiving Hospice care or at end of life
• Adaptability in the workplace
• Be a good and patient listener in a friendly and polite manner
• A complete Background Check will be done once hired
• Possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance is a bonus, however not required
