Overview:

Fortinet is offering an exciting opportunity and hiring a Software Dev QA to enhance product quality for Forti Web. Forti Web, Fortinet’s Web Application Firewall, protects business-critical web applications from attacks that target known and unknown vulnerabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and maintain QA test environments.
• Execute feature testing using manual and automated techniques.
• Reproduce and troubleshoot bugs with developers to ensure defects are correctly identified and resolved.
• Write scripts to support feature testing.

Requirements:

• Deep knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS, TCP/IP protocols.
• Familiarity with network firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, security consulting, SSL, IPsec, etc.
• Familiarity with web authentication protocols like NTLM, HTTP Basic, RADIUS, LDAP, OAuth, etc.
• Experience with web servers and proxies such as Nginx, Apache, HAProxy.
• Understanding of web application vulnerabilities and the OWASP Top 10.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language:
  Python, Shell, Ruby, Perl, etc.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Highly motivated, responsible, and a quick learner.

The Canada base salary range for this full-time position is expected to be between $85,000 - $115,000 annually. Exact offers depend on experience, skills, and qualifications.
