The Service Now Junior Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the service catalog within the Service Now platform. Their primary role is to create and customize catalog items, workflows, and user interfaces to meet the specific needs of the organization. They work closely with the Service Now Business Analysts to understand service requirements and translate them into functional catalog items that streamline service delivery and improve user experience.
The developer ensures that the service catalog is intuitive, efficient, and aligns with ITIL best practices. They also handle troubleshooting and optimization of existing catalog items, implement automation where possible, and stay updated with the latest Service Now features to enhance the catalog’s capabilities.
- Understand business requirements and work within a group environment to provide efficient and effective Service Now service catalog solutions.
- Participate in the full software development life cycle:
Analysis, Design, Coding, Testing and promotion into Production. - Provide technical support during all phases of service catalog delivery.
- Experience developing workflows and logic using Flow Designer.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL v3 methodologies, ITSM concepts, enterprise IT architecture, relational databases, ITIL certifications a plus.
- Strong technical knowledge of Service Now Service Catalog.
- 1 year Service Now service catalog development, configuration and administration experience in an enterprise environment.
- Service Now Certified Administrator (CSA).
- Service Now Certified Application Developer (CAD).

Pay Scale: CAD 37.6063/hr
