Job Objective

As the Salesforce Developer, you will work with our IT Team and stakeholders to design, develop, and implement new features and functionality for our platform and will ensure that our systems are scalable, secure, and optimized for performance. You will have a strong background in Salesforce development and will be responsible for developing and maintaining our e-Commerce platform. This role will manage platform configurations, maintain data integrity, manage 3rd party integration apps and support the organization initiatives.

Translating business strategy into feature/project requirements is a specialty of this individual.

You are a self-driven Full Stack developer who has experience working in different phases of the project. You enjoy being involved in projects from the ground up, taking them from concept to successful completion with minimal oversight. You take the time to listen to stakeholders, see things from their perspective, and celebrate success. You understand that technology doesn’t solve everything — sometimes a process tweak can make a world of difference.

Specific Accountabilities
  • Manage requirements and development work specific to Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Order Management System, Sales and Service Cloud
  • Work with stakeholders, design and UX to gather requirements and design visually appealing features that meet business needs
  • Build and maintain integrations with other systems, such as payment gateways, tax systems, Salesforce Order Management System
  • Develop and maintain customizations, such as product configurators, pricing rules, and promotions
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, following best practices and design patterns
  • Code review and approve consultant and peer development code
  • Collaborate with other developers, architects, and stakeholders to ensure that our platform is scalable, secure, and optimized for performance
  • Develop and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure code quality
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues and provide timely resolution
  • Evaluate business process, uncover areas for improvement in current enterprise sales and customer services process
  • Facilitate requirements and solution validation activities to ensure project deliverables will meet key business needs
  • Provide regular project documentation tracking, reporting, and follow up to both internal and external customers
  • Delivering elements of systems design, including data migration rules, business rules, wireframes, or other detailed deliverables
  • Coordinate with IT and third-party vendors for platform enhancements, integrations, and troubleshooting
  • Work on several initiatives in parallel
  • Support the project manager as needed to ensure successful project completion
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator
  • Relevant post-secondary education or equivalent combination of education and experience in related field
  • Experience working with both agile and waterfall delivery methodologies
  • Salesforce Administrator certification
  • Experience with ERP, Mail Chimp and other relevant tools relating to CRMs
