Janitorial Cleaner

Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitorial Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of our facilities. The ideal candidate will ensure all areas are clean, sanitized, and safe for employees, customers, and visitors.

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, hallways, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, and disinfect hard-surfaced flooring.
• Vacuum carpets in hallways, offices, and common areas; spot clean when necessary.
• Empty waste receptacles, clean and disinfect the interior/exterior, and replace liners.
• Wash and wipe down all common area doors, exit, and fire doors.
• Replace light bulbs when needed.
• Restock washroom supplies (toilet paper, paper towels, soap).
• Fill out the logbook, follow up on requested comments, and report any problems to management.
• Thoroughly clean and hose down floors and drains, especially areas behind garbage bins, on days when bins are removed.
• Dust and clean furniture, windows, walls, and other surfaces.
• Restock general supplies as needed.
• Report maintenance issues or supply needs to the supervisor.
• Follow safety guidelines and use cleaning equipment appropriately.
• Ensure cleaning schedules are followed and completed on time.

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Previous experience in janitorial or cleaning services is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting up to 25 pounds and standing for extended periods.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and tools (training provided).

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $1200 per month

• 8 hour shift
• Working hours:
  
  9am - 5pm
• Saturday & Sunday

• Cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
