Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYXAs a repair operator, your main duty is to repair and extend the life of garments to help us in our mission to reduce waste. From opening and removing damaged parts, to sewing, laminating and basting various fabrics & materials together, you will be key to recovering the garment’s functionality according to Arc’teryx’s standards.

Core Activities for the Repair Operator- Repair products based on the instructions and training provided.
- Ensure that your machine is set up, run, and cleaned appropriately and at the appropriate times.
- Follow Company procedures to uphold the Company’s quality and safety standards, and strive to return all customer repairs to a functional condition.
- Work closely with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
- Follow all safety rules and regulations.
- Continue to learn new techniques and product knowledge to provide better repairs and share knowledge to improve team members’ skills.
- Assist with other tasks and projects as assigned.
- Have previous experience working in a manufacturing or similar high‑pace environment.
- Have high attention to detail.
- Can work well independently and efficiently without direct supervision, and work effectively as a team.
- Have excellent organizational skills and flexibility.
- Are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions.
- Have strong interpersonal skills with ability to deal with difficult situations with tact and professionalism.
- Training in garment construction or experience in a garment production environment is an asset.
- Basic knowledge of a spoken second language is an asset.
- Knowledge of Arc’teryx’s unique products is an asset.
$20.25 – $22.50 an hour.
The starting pay for factory skill‑based workers is CAD $20.25 hourly at the time of this posting, with a reasonable estimated pay range of CAD $20.25 – $22.50 upon the completion of training.
