Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure orders are finished according to shipping schedules.Work with team members to ensure an efficient production flow.Operate forklift and pallet jack to load, unload transport, and store goods.Inspect incoming shipments for damages or discrepancies and report any issues to the Shipping Supervisor.Prepare, package, and label goods for shipment as required.Get ingredients ready for bakers.Do prep for day's production.Organize the shipping/receiving areas.Record shipping and receiving information accurately into inventory systems.Unload pallets and stock shelves.Perform tasks as assigned by the Shipping Supervisor.Requirements:
Previous working experience with operating power jack and forklift.Previous experience working in a warehouse in shipping.Must be able to work a flexible shift, including weekends and early morning.Must be able to lift heavy weights (up to 20 kgs) and work in the freezer for long periods.Good communication skills (ability to read, write and understand English well).Quick learner, reliable, able to follow direction.
