Position Summary
We’re looking for a dynamic, customer-focused Territory Manager to represent Stella‑Jones across Home Depot locations in the Greater Vancouver area. This is an exciting, field‑based and highly autonomous role for a self‑motivated, high‑energy professional who thrives working independently. You’ll manage your own schedule and territory, build strong relationships, solve problems, and ensure top‑tier service. You’ll travel throughout your assigned territory, supported by a company vehicle and cell phone, representing the trusted Canadian brand of pressure‑treated lumber.
Key Responsibilities- Visit and service Home Depot stores weekly within the Greater Vancouver region.
- Maintain consistent communication with Store Managers, Assistant Managers, and Department Associates to support strong relationships and effective collaboration.
- Ensure stores are fully stocked and visually merchandised according to Stella‑Jones and Home Depot standards.
- Monitor inventory levels, identify replenishment needs, and follow up on logistics and deliveries.
- Lead product knowledge training sessions and presentations for store associates and local contractors.
- Support the Pro‑Desk by promoting Stella‑Jones programs and fostering strong relationships with contractors.
- Conduct site visits, assist with warranty claims, and participate in Home Depot events and product demos.
- Maintain professional, well‑organized displays, signage, and promotional materials at all times.
- Track store performance using Excel, preparing simple charts and reports to share updates and insights.
- 3+ years of experience in sales, merchandizing, account management, or retail operations preferred.
- Proven ability to work independently and autonomously in a field‑based role with minimal direct supervision.
- Strong relationship‑building and communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities, particularly in planning store visits and service routes.
- Comfortable taking initiative and proactively reaching out for support or collaboration when needed.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Experience with in the building materials or lumber industry considered an asset.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
