High-visibility patrol of assigned areas, on foot and in company vehiclesEnsure the security of all personnel, visitors, and the general publicRespond against theft, trespassing, vandalism, and fireMonitor property access controlInvestigate and report suspicious behavior, incidents, and security breachesEnforce client informed policiesCommunicate with law enforcement, emergency medical personnel, and fire departmentsRespond to and investigate alarms, ensuring properties are secure and in order before departingWe Schedule Shifts According to Following Availability Needs:
Full time: able to work 32 to 40 hours per weekShifts:
Morning, Afternoon and Night
- 12-hour shiftsMobile patrol team works out of the main operations office in BURNABY , which is accessible by transitParking provided at Head Office for successful candidateYOU ARE A GREAT FIT IF YOU:
Hold a valid BC Security LicenseHave a valid Class 4 or 5 Driver's License, with a clean driver's abstract (NO previous suspensions and/or prohibitions)Strong knowledge of Road SafetyRelevant security experienceRelevant experience in the security or customer service industryExcellent customer service & professional deportmentHigh standard for safety & a passion for securityExcellent documentation and communication skillsEnjoy working as part of a team, but able to work independently without supervisionAdditional certifications are an asset:
Occupational First Aid Level 1, 2, 3, AST, Etc.
** Selected applicants will be required to show an ICBC driver's abstract on the day of the in-person interview. Failure to provide this and Class 4 or 5 driver's license will result in immediate disqualification.
Please note that security officers may be required to work extended hours and be part of an on-call team for urgent scheduling needs.
