Position: OFA 2 Security Officer

JOB DUTIES:

Assuming the role of an Occupational
First Aid Level 2 attendant on site and respond to all medical emergencies to the best of their ability

Responding to client requests and onsite emergencies

Face-to-face customer service to clients, public, and those working inside the building

Ensuring the security of all personnel, visitors, and the general public

Inspecting & patrolling premises

Monitoring property access

Investigating and reporting suspicious behavior, incidents, and security breaches

Enforcing client informed policies

Communicating with law enforcement, emergency medical personnel, and fire departments

Responding to alarms

Other duties to be completed as assigned

Shift schedule: 00:00-08:00 Saturday to Wednesday

Location: nearest Sky Train station is Gilmore Station

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

A Valid BC Security License

OFA 2 required

Ability to stand for long periods of time & complete routine patrols to protect against fire & theft

Relevant experience in the security and/or customer service industry

Excellent customer service & professional deportment

A high standard for safety & passion for security

Excellent documentation and communication skills

Additional certifications are an asset: AST, etc.
