Senior Software Developer

The team maintains Forti Client Cloud, a cloud-based solution that leverages modern cloud-native technologies and practices for scalability, performance and reliability. • Design, develop and maintain Forti Client Cloud software and infrastructure
• Contribute to web development
• Help deploy and maintain Forti Client Cloud services and infrastructure
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in cloud application development

• Minimum 5 years' relevant work experience showing track record of code/feature ownership
• Working experience with Python
• Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills (Linux/Windows/Networking)
• Experience with relational databases (ex. MS SQL, Postgre
  
  SQL, Maria
  
  DB)
• Experience with web frameworks (ex. Django, Flask)
• Experience or working knowledge of cloud-native technologies (ex. K8S, Helm, Docker, Terraform)
• Experience deploying and maintaining cloud applications
• Familiarity with RESTful API design principles
• Must be able to work well in a fast-paced team development environment
• Strong Linux development experience
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP or Openstack

• Experience with network topology and security
• Previous experience with Kibana+Grafana

The Canada base salary range for this full-time position is expected to be between $110,000 - $150,000 annually. Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labour market, job type, and job level. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate’s subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, and experience.
