Your responsibilities as a Practice Accountant include:

• Managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring timely and accurate completion of financial statements and tax returns.
• Preparing year‑end accounts for limited companies, partnerships, charities, and sole traders.
• Supporting and reviewing the work of junior staff, providing coaching and feedback.
• Attending client meetings and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Preparing VAT schedules, corporation tax computations, and tax returns.
• Contributing to workflow planning and resource allocation within the team.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and firm policies.

To be considered for this Practice Accountant role, you should have:

• An ACA or ACCA qualification (newly qualified or recently qualified).
• Previous experience within a UK accountancy practice environment.
• Full driving licence and ability to travel to client sites when required.
