Graduate R&T Project Engineer

Morson are working with one of the UK's leading aerospace manufacturers. This role will provide support to the R&T team at Burnley to execute the R&T projects.

Projects involve composite manufacturing, sheet metal and assembly technologies. The role may also include facilitating the execution of the plan.

• Participate in understanding the context of the projects and current challenges.
• Evaluate and define a roadmap / plan to address current issues.
• Be able to present the development plan to the team and to experts for validation.
• Facilitate the execution of the plan in a timely manner.
• Help to track progress and ensure that plans are being done.
• Coordinate the stakeholders and ensure relevant information is circulated.
• Capture decisions and actions, write meeting minutes.
• Report findings, review and collect results, providing a summary of conclusions and key recommendations.
• Suggest next steps based upon review results.
• Close out actions once quality requirements have been met.

• Engineering studies in progress or completed (preferably related to Automation), with a basic understanding of Aerospace manufacturing and assembly processes.
• Good writing skills with the ability to review and summarise data.
