• Rates of Pay:
  • 16‑20 years old – £11.00 per hour
  • 21 years old and over – £12.21 per hour
• Contract end date: 3 January 2026
• Stores open 7 days a week – you must be able to work weekends, including Sundays
• Available hours: 12 hours per week. You may work 4‑hour shifts over 3 days, or two 6‑hour shifts
• Additional hours may be available depending on the trade
• Required to work Christmas Eve, Boxing Day or New Year’s Eve

• Willing and able to help out in the local Tesco concession space – merchandising, shelf stock, customer interaction and deliveries

Working for the Entertainer is a wonderful and thrilling experience; there is never a day when I am bored or have nothing to do. I enjoy restocking and making sure all the prices are correct for all our customers; I also like seeing kids get excited about their favourite toys in stock, which brings back memories of my own childhood. For me, this is very rewarding, and I love seeing the excited and thrilled looks on their faces.

On the weekends when it is especially busy, I like to replenish and make myself available for everybody, whether that’s to grab an item off the top shelf or to recommend a toy or bestseller for Christmas. I love being a Seasonal Sales Assistant as I feel that small jobs like restocking can make a big difference to a customer coming into our store for the first time.
