This is an on‑site freelance contract role for a Sales Associate based in Burnley. The Sales Associate will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with local businesses to promote advertising opportunities on Radio Burnley. Key responsibilities include identifying potential clients, presenting advertising packages, negotiating contracts, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The role also involves collaborating with the station's team to create tailored marketing campaigns that meet client needs.

• Strong sales and negotiation skills, with prior experience in client relationship management or business development
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to present and pitch ideas effectively
• Ability to research and understand local markets and advertising trends
• Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and able to work autonomously
• Familiarity with digital marketing and an understanding of radio or media industry trends is advantageous
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel locally as part of the role
