Location: Uttoxeter, Staffordshire

Employment Type: Full‑time, Hybrid (3 days onsite)

Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 + PHP training course + 33 days holiday + generous pension contribution + private healthcare

• Manage maintenance of automated software interfaces for laboratory instruments.
• Develop new measurement methods to improve productivity and accuracy.
• Create and maintain test strategies, documentation, and robust test plans.
• Document all software and maintain existing documentation.
• Work onsite 5 days a week as part of a hybrid model.

• Proven experience in Python and VBA.
• Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas and macros.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with stakeholders, clients, and team members.
• Full PHP training course will be provided; completion is required.
• Experience in a similar role such as Software Developer, Software Engineer, Automation Developer, or Data Analyst.
• Commutable to Uttoxeter.
