About the Role:

HC-One are looking for a Maintenance Operative with solid experience in maintenance, building, DIY, cleaning and housekeeping. You’ll also need technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, as well as ideally some IT skills. When communicating with a resident or co‑worker, you’ll be considerate and kind.

Responsibilities include making sure residents live in a place that’s proactively inspected and brilliantly maintained. You’ll carry out audits and keep records up to date. Tasks range from replacing taps or mixer valves, fitting extractor fans, repairing timber on bedroom windows, to putting up wallpaper.

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. You should recognise signs of abuse, harm or neglect, attend safeguarding training, and report concerns appropriately.
