• Protect the customer's property, people, and assets by providing security services in direct accordance with the site's published Assignment Instructions (AI) and any subsequent changes.
• Deliver results that meet and/or exceed the Key Performance Indicators / Service Level Agreements for the customer, fully accountable to maintain contract retention.
• Undertake additional training for continuous self‑development.
• Relief officer shifts during February – September.
• Seasonal 3‑Day/3‑Night/3 Off shift pattern from September to 31 January.

• Ensure compliance with all policies, UK law, and regulatory requirements.
• Complete all tasks and duties on site as defined within the Assignment Instructions.
• Review and suggest amendments to the Assignment Instructions to improve service.
• Maintain required front‑line licence and CCTV PSS SIA licence; renew 16 weeks before expiry.
• Comply with legal obligations and safety requirements.
• Work systematically and orderly; follow instructions without challenging authority.

• Complete all required competency training.
• Continued training as directed by Security Account Manager.
• Use technology to achieve key objectives and develop job knowledge.
• Renew licence 16 weeks before expiry.

• Report health & safety hazards immediately.
• Stay alert to threats and respond appropriately to reduce disruption.
• Use common sense and involve others if a situation becomes threatening.
• Maintain professional conduct with difficult customers.
• Record incidents accurately in a notebook for incident reports.
• Keep to schedules and demonstrate commitment to Mitie and the client.
• Carry out scheduled check calls as per Assignment Instructions.
• Call emergency services and Communication Centre for all incidents.

• Previous security distribution experience.
• Valid SIA licence.
• SC clearance desirable.
