GAP Pump Services provides advice, servicing, maintenance and repair for dewatering and sewerage pump applications, including a large range of hoses, settlement tanks, and water processing solutions.

As a Regional Pump Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our region by ensuring customers can hire the equipment they need, when they need it. You will be responsible for traveling across customer sites to identify and repair faults or damage to pumps, hoses, and generators, while accurately updating service records.

Please note
: the position will be based out of our depot in Bury St Edmunds and we prefer candidates who are suitably located.

• Proven experience as a pump engineer, mechanical fitter or similar role with a relevant qualification or time served
• Ideal experience within the plant or hire industry
• Sound and current knowledge of pumps, hoses and generators is highly desirable
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to work effectively under pressure
• A customer‑focussed approach and committed team player
• A valid driving licence is preferred but not essential
