Interim Financial Controller

NXTGEN are supporting a high-growth, multi-site group with the appointment of an Interim Financial Controller to strengthen financial control, reporting and governance during a critical period of change and expansion. With increased complexity across the group and year-end approaching, this is a hands‑on, senior interim role, working closely with the CFO to stabilise the finance function and provide clear, reliable financial insight to senior leadership.

• Taking ownership of core accounting operations, ensuring accurate, timely and reliable financial reporting
• Strengthening financial controls and governance, improving audit readiness and consistency
• Providing clear visibility over cashflow, liquidity and balance sheet risk
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and cost control alongside FP&A
• Acting as a key finance contact for senior stakeholders, auditors and external partners
• Leading and supporting the finance team, setting clear standards and expectations
• Identifying and delivering process and system improvements to improve efficiency and reporting quality

You will be a technically strong, senior finance professional, comfortable stepping into a complex, fast-paced environment and quickly bringing structure and control.

• Fully qualified accountant
• Strong technical accounting and financial control expertise
• Confidence owning year-end delivery, audit management, cashflow and balance sheet governance
• Advanced Excel and strong analytical capability
• Clear, confident communicator able to influence senior stakeholders
