Site Manager

Involve Recruitment are seeking an experienced Site Manager to take full responsibility as number one on site for the delivery of small-scale new build housing developments across Cardiff. This role is suited to a hands-on Site Manager with a proven background in managing residential schemes valued at £3 million+, delivering projects safely, on programme, and to a high standard of quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as number one site manager on small-scale new build housing schemes

• Manage projects from commencement on site through to completion and handover

• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and materials to meet programme

• Drive quality standards across all stages of the build

• Ensure full compliance with health & safety legislation and company procedures

• Monitor progress, resolve site issues, and report to senior management

• Manage inspections, snagging, and final handovers

• Maintain accurate site records, programmes, and reporting

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on new build housing developments

• Demonstrable experience managing schemes valued at £3 million+ as number one

• Strong knowledge of residential construction processes and sequencing

• Ability to manage multiple trades and subcontractors effectively

• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills

Qualifications (Essential)

• SMSTS, CSCS & First Aid
